What is Craps Dice Control?
When playing Craps your main tools are the dice. Those that have been playing the game for a while and are now considered experienced players have realized that this tool can be tweaked to their advantage.
This is dice control and is for these players intentional. Players who use this technique have mastered how to throw the dice so the outcome is in their favour.
To control the dice you need to know how to pick up the dice and then alter the faces that look up to you. This allows for the dice to be pre-set to a particular combination prior to being thrown. This is done by gently rolling the dice within your fingers without anyone really noticing.
It is then the real technique comes in to play. Players then throw the dice at a certain angle which is determined from a specific posture of the hand. This is a skill they practice often.
There are also players, especially beginners, that unintentionally control the dice. They are usually just lucky, but once they get into the flow of playing and rolling the dice subconsciously adopt a throwing pattern of their own too.
