What is an Any 7 Bet in Craps

An Any 7 bet is just a single one roll bet in craps where the player is betting on the next roll of the shooter being a 7, that is, a Natural or Seven Out as they are commonly known in casinos all around the world. The payout odds if you take an Any 7 bet, and the shooter throws a Seven Out, is 4 to 1. Not too bad an odds, but certainly some risk involved.

Similar to the Any Craps bet, this game is also not favoured due to the odds being heavily stacked in favour of the casino or the house. Whereas in an Any Craps bet, the house has an 11.1% edge over the player, the house has an enormous 17% advantage over a player who take a single Any 7 bet on craps. This is way too risky for some.

Some players in the past have tried to use the Any 7 bet as part of a craps betting system when they want to play it safe. In fact combination betting is used by many people who use systems, they look at it as some will go my way, some wont. Any player should always remind himself of the houses 17% advantage against the player.
