Mr Wynn certainly seems to have synergy with his name! This americam mogul is associated with the success of the Vegas strip and is a casino resort and hotel developer. Some of the casinos and hotels that are associated with himk include the Golden Nugget, The Bellagio, The Mirage, Treasure Island and Encore. That is some portfolio he holds! His net worth is thought to be in the region of $1.5 billion. Raised in Utica, New York, he was raised in a family that operated several Bingo parlours in the USA. When he was old enough to take over the family business he began expanding it into stakes in casinos in the upcoming Vegas strip. He began to invest and upgrade casinos and make huge successes out of the resulting buildings and hotels.

He is credited with making the Vegas strip a much more upmarket and luxury area than in its early years. Casinos are not his only passion, Mr Wynn has a great appreciation of the arts and a formidable collection of paintings that any gallery owner would be overjoyed to display. Mr Wynn is known for his wealth and it has not always worked in his favour. In 1993 the family was devastated when his daughter was kidnapped and a ransom of $1.45 million was paid for her safe return. The kidnappers were later apprehended when one of the happless bad guys tried to purchase a Lamborghini with the cash.
