More craps betting rules

As a rule of thumb, try to keep your betting consistent and have a walk away target figure. This has to be a realistic number that, when hit, signals that it is time to call it a day.

You need to set both a profit and a loss number and try to adhere to it.

If you can do this, you can keep a tight control of your spending.

It’s a good idea to start by betting no more than the minimum and only raise your bets after you start winning.

This means you cannot overly damage your funds early on and it is a healthy way to try to grow your pot.

Try and also observe the shooter, if you are in a real casino, and see how confident they look. Then you can bet accordingly.

Remember five, six, seven and eight are the most rolled numbers in the game so bet carefully and try not to lose on them.

Since online craps is all about the dice and the luck of the roll, one of the main things to do is go with your instinct. If it’s your lucky night, it will soon reap dividends for you, so follow your hunches.

Many players have their best nights at craps just by following their instinct and not betting overly heavily on the larger and harder to win areas of the table.

Play smart and try not to overstretch your funds and try not to chase the big wins too early. If you feel confident later in the game, then you can have the odd bet on a ten to one area but make these bets infrequently.

The odds are stacked against you winning on those and it’s these bets that will the most damaging to your chip stack.
