Hard Count
Instead of counting chips, it is the counting of hard money.
Hard Way Bet
These are bets that are difficult to call and therefore high odds bets in Craps. They are when a player wagers an amount on the total of the two dice which are rolled, a double totalling 4, 6, 8 or 10. For example, betting on two 6’s to be rolled is a 30-1 bet.
Hi Lo
A wager on a 2 and 12.
High Roller
A player who wagers large amounts of chips or money.
Hold Your Own
When a player is neither winning nor losing and is breaking even. The player is at the same bankroll amount as when they started.
Horn Bet
This is a one roll bet on many outcomes. It is designed to speed up the profit making in Craps. Betting occurs on the horn numbers.
Horn Numbers
2, 3, 11 and 12.
Hot
A slang term for being on a winning streak.
House
A term used for the casino, banker or dealer.
House Edge
The in-built bias in odds towards the house or dealer
