Dice Control Myths

In any game which involves winning money there are myths. This applies to playing craps with dice also. Here are a few examples of some myths surrounding the dealers and during the game.

It is said that if the shooter is virgin then they are good luck, however this must be female. If it is a male then it is bad luck.

Bouncing dice. If the dice bounces on the table after it leaves the shooter’s hands and prior to the final revelation of the dice outcome, then this is considered bad luck for you during your game.

The numbers 7 and 11 are said to be good luck in craps. Therefore many players will follow this myth and will wager on these numbers individually. It turns out however that placing your chips on these numbers only is one of the worst betting strategies in Craps.

In most casinos they rotate their dealers. Some believe that this is done to give a new boost of luck to the table. Unfortunately, this is not the case many casinos change their dealers so they can have break to keep them sharp during their shift and also for security reasons.
