Craps Odds Explained

Quite simply, Craps offers the best odds to a player in modern gambling, but only if the right bets are made.
Basically, the tables you play at online will allow you to guess what numbers will or won’t show on the roll. You then get odds from the casino based on the options you choose.
So, for example, you can put ten dollars on the numbers four or ten showing and get two to one for your money.
Or you could select numbers four and ten not showing and get one to two on your odds.
Any seven, for example, will give you five to one odds. These are known as One Roll Bets.
There are a variety of betting types and the tables can be daunting at first. If you are new to them, stand back and watch a while until you feel comfortable. If you are online, play with free money until you understand what is happening.
There are many types of bets that can be made, and while the terminology can be daunting, once you understand it, the game itself is very basic.
The main player who throws the dice is the shooter and what you have to remember is that you are betting on what he or she rolls.
The first roll is known as the come out throw. If he rolls a total of seven or eleven, then it’s an instant win for him.
A total of two, three or a twelve is craps and an instant loss.

Any other total thrown is known as the player’s point. The player will now continue to roll until he hits either a seven, or his original point number.
