About Craps Odds

There is a certain jargon to the game that allows you to understand how and where to bet. Making the point, for example, is when the player hits the point rather than a seven. If he rolls a seven before his point then he is seven out.
These words are scattered around the table and you can place bets on these things happening.
Once you know the jargon, you need to see what odds are being offered for these events happening and you need to bet accordingly.
The odds of winning are slightly against the shooter throughout Craps, which is why the shooter rotates.
If the shooter throws a seven and ‘sevens out’, then the dice pass to another player, who becomes the new shooter at the table.
There some large returns in Craps. Some tables will offer ten to one on certain numbers for example.
It is worth working out what odds you are going to get and how often you believe a certain number will fall.
If you are just starting, bet small and bet on odds that are lower returns and have a higher chance of yielding.
Ten bets on ten to one like a six or eight Hardways bet might eventually yield but you could have won four or five times on a two to one section. You have to figure what suits your style and research the table odds.
